For those of you who have gone through the process of applying to college, aside from embarking on a new and exciting adventure, we all know how incredibly difficult, overwhelming, and confusing it can be. From the location of the college to the Common Application to our interests to the SATs to Financial Aid, the list never ends! Not only is the process challenging for the student applying, but also for the parent. Despite both my parents attending college, they were equally distraught by the mayhem of the college application process. As the eldest child of the family, I personally had little idea in terms of what I wanted from my education - all I knew was that I wanted to leave Massachusetts for school. My mother was ultimately my saving grace when it came to me discovering and choosing the criteria I desired in a college. However, it was not easy for her either; she particularly felt paralyzed by the mysteries behind the universities application process and had numerous unanswered questions. It was during the time I was applying to college that my mother thought about writing a book. Today, I can happily congratulate my mother on making her dream of writing a book a reality. Demystifying College Admissions is a book that breaks down the college application process. Full of practical advice, personal experience, and extensive research, this book is perfect for parents when preparing for the college process with their child. Now available on Amazon Books!
